Chow Kway Teow Stall - $2 / $2.5 / $3

Hokkien Mee Stall
It's Fri, 2 Feb 07.. today we went for our lunch at Bukit Batok St 11, blk 154 coffee shop. We ordered char kway teow, hokkien mee and the "hao-jian" (fried oyster) to share among 3 of us. Our colleagues told us that the hokkien mee stall will charge 50 cents if ask for extra chilli. True enough, we did saw the display sign at the stall.
Overall, 3 of us agreed on overall, the standard of the food was not that fantastic compared to what they had on other days. We find the hokkien mee a little too bland for our liking though the chilli was great to go with it. My colls find the fried kway teow a bit salty. The omelette of the hao jian was not that crispy and sometimes there's still some lumpy starch. Nonetheless, it worth to give it a try if you are around this neighbourhood looking for nice food.
