" JURONG WEST CLAYPOT CURRY FISH HEAD"

This is one of my favourite fish head curry stalls! Had a sudden craving for it tday so i recommended my colleagues to go try it out. We drove westwards to Jurong West St 41, Blk 496 to try this mouth-watering claypot curry fish head. As usual, we were damn lucky to get a empty lot when looking for car parking lots especially during lunch hours.

Once there, the auntie began to ask whther we would like to order the biggest size which cost $26, however we decided to order a $18 curry fish head instead, accompanied with one dish of "Xiao Bai Cai" and one dish of "Fu-Rong Dan" to go with white rice. True enough, the $18 fish head proved more than enough for the 4 of us. Waiting time was about less than 5 mins as the lunch crowd is scarce. Well, the fish head taste more towards sour than spicy and the coconut strongly enhanced the flavour of the curry.. the taste of the gravy is especially highlighted when u eat it with the sliced pineapple. the sweetness of pineapple and the sourness of the gravy tingling in your mouth...hmmm.. sedap !!

Though personally, i found the 'xiao bai cai' a little saltish due to the soya sauce but afterall, it blends well with the rest of the dish...

The funny thing was four of us don't really know how to appreciate the fish head.. we were wondering how on earth to eat the fish's eyes which some pple say it's good for our eyes coz "yi xing bu xing" mah.. hee hee :p We just like to eat rice with the 'curry-gravy'..Ha..ha... Finally, if you like 'sour' curry fish head.. this is the place i would strongly recommend.
